Bahrain – Passport and Visa required

Visa Requirements for U.S. Citizens

TOURIST

• Valid and signed U. S. Passport (valid at least 6 months beyond the date of entry; with at least one blank visa page) – photocopy is not acceptable
• One Visa Application Form completed and signed. The application form must have original signature.
• One Passport Type Photograph
• Personal letter describing reason for and duration of tourist visit to Bahrain, giving a detailed description of the trip and guaranteeing full responsibility for all travel expenses
• Please send a copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket, or letter of confirmation from a travel agent. The itinerary must show the applicant’s name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information. The Embassy does not recommend purchasing your ticket prior to a visa being issued.
• Applications for minors must be accompanied by a notarized letter of travel consent from BOTH parents and a photocopy of BOTH parents passports.
• AA Passport Service order form

BUSINESS

• Valid and signed U. S. Passport (valid at least 6 months beyond the date of entry; with at least one blank visa page) – photocopy is not acceptable
• One AA Passport Service order form completed and signed. The application form must have original signature.
• One Passport type photograph
• Business Letter from U.S. Company
• Travel the World Visas Service Order Form

OFFICIAL or DIPLOMATIC PASSPORT HOLDERS ONLY

• Submit your U.S. Official or Diplomatic Passport (must have at least 6 months remaining validity)
• 1 AA Passport Service Bahrain visa completed and signed. The application form must have original signature.
• 1 Passport-type photograph
• Letter from sending Government department or agency, confirming the purpose of travel and dates of the intended visit.
• Travel the World Visas Service Order Form
